Disappear
Salty air caresses my face while we lay on the sand,
Letting the sea cover us.
"A blanket of salty tears." you whisper as if reading my mind.
I smile to myself, "Who are they for?"
There is a long pause and you sigh deeply.
"For this world." You say it as if it hurts. Then you get up and start walking away. Obviously not wanting to talk about it.
As I catch up, you hold out your hand and I hold it tightly. I want to push you a little closer to the edge, "So who cried them?"
You squeeze my hand briefly, and then you look at me. I can bearly see the hurt expression on your face...but it's there.
